Although it may rain today, I have some errands to get done. The only thing I dislike about living out where we live is that most places I need to go aren't close by, because there's still not that much built out here. It's not like I can just run to Costco...No, I have to trek a half hour just to get there. But it is getting better, it seems like every week I notice a new business/restaurant/store being built closer to home. This just further proves that I am a city girl. I would never survive in a small town or rural community. I love living in Las Vegas. I love that most everything I need is open 24 hours. I need the commercial shopping centers and mass produced mega-malls. Sad, but true. It is what I know and love.
And on that note, time to feed the baby, pack him up, and head to Henderson.

I do so love being able to go to Walmart at 1 a.m. to get the motrin and gatorade when you wake to the blessed sound of a kid barfing. Once Afton injured herself at my parent's house who live four hours from civilization...It was the worst feeling in the world. I also enjoy having cable and radio stations. I grew up without those and miss them dearly when I go back home.
